Went in there buying a day pass came out with a gym membership. For it being a newer gym, it's probably one of the nicest gyms I've been to and I've been to a lot of gyms. LA Fitness, 24 Fitness, Lifetime, and some small ones in Des Moines; this is by far one of the nicest and cleanest.

I recently joined and enjoy working out there. Lots of equipment to use. I can choose between machines or free weights. And for the most part, its not been crowded.

Great gym, I'd definitely recommend and I have been to almost every gym in Cedar Rapids, might be small but it has everything you need to have good lifts

Super clean. Love how all the equipment is brand new and lighting they have is super aesthetically pleasing. The machines are a little close to each other because so much is packed into the space but it’s not cramped. Hopefully an upstairs addition can be made because that would definitely open up the downstairs area. Overall a very nice and well setup gym

With house of iron you get a great community. The people here are great. The owner Brent is former military and a mix martial arts fighter. I want to thank him for letting my companies Yep Strength and Hardwear clothing setup, and demo our products in his gym. The gym is beautiful. It’s a former movie theater. That adds a unique experience to this gym. The equipment is solid and will continue to get better. Brent has big plans for the future. The gym is equipped with 2 cold plunges, an infrared sauna, Theraguns, and vibrating foam rollers. If you’re a bodybuilder there is a posing room. If you’re in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this is gym you need to check out. It doesn’t matter if you’re a bodybuilder, athlete, or someone just getting started. This gym will have something for you!
